HD300 HDMI issues
I have an older westinghouse 1080p tv. It's one of the ones that predates HDCP and the mainstream adoption of HDMI, so its non-HDCP and DVI connectors on the set. It worked fine at 1080p with a computer as a sage client, ok with my HD200 at 1080i (couldn't sync properly at 1080p), and now with my HD300 I have nothing. I can't get picture at any res. I do get garbage at 1080p. All other resolutions, the set doesn't even see a signal.
Is anyone else having issues with HDMI sync on the HD300? Any suggestions? |

20100909-0 firmware
oh, tried "force HDMI output" already too. I had to do that on the HD200 to get even 1080i working. I tried with the supplied HDMI cable, no difference. I tried with a different TV (panasonic 1080p projector that does support HDCP), and it worked though was very slow to sync. |

My sony TV that is about 4 years old won't work with the supplied HDMI cable. It flashes UI then black repeatedly. However, the Samsung TV I just bought last week works perfectly fine with the supplied cable.

I also have an older Sony 1080i tv with 1 hdmi port and it won't work with the hdmi port either. I have a newer vizio and it works fine.

Resolution?
Anyone get this working? I have a Magnavox, about 2 years old, 1080p. I can load the HD300 to the main menu but when I connect to the server, I lose the signal and it just goes black. Forced HDMI did not help.

try unplugging the HD300 and plugging it back in. I have had some problems with HDMI to DVI going black but removing and adding power to the HD300 fixes it every time.

Sometime mine goes black too and I have to unplug it and plug it back in as well. Kind of annoying really and low WAF. The HD200 never had that problem.
