Client unresponsive after server reboot

I've noticed that if I need to reboot the server the client is not very happy. In my BeyondTV days I could click exit or refresh on the client and it would do whatever I picked. If I refreshed and the server was up all was well again. On the sage client it is super sluggish to even move through the UI. I often just get tired of trying to move to exit the application with the remote and go dig out the usb keyboard I stuck behind the entertainment stand. After I close the client and reopen all is well again. Is this just "the way it is" with sage or are there some settings or something I could tweak? Maybe something new to version 7? I never tried 6 so I wouldn't know how it behaved.

My SageTV Client goes to the "server connection lost" screen and stays there until it comes back up again, at which point everything works normally. You shouldn't need to navigate the UI in the meantime as there's not much useful you can do with it while the server's down.

First thing I'd suggest is disabling all plugins to see if that makes a difference.

Also enable debug logging on the client to see if any errors show up in the logs.

No plugins. I'll do the debug though. I have it on the server. Have to search though. Can't remember how. So I'm assuming your seperate client machine is nice and snappy after a server reboot?
