remove orphaned RecordedTV listing?

Under RecordedTV, there is a show that is listed for which there is no longer a recording.

There seems to be no way to delete it (delete button not present)

How do I get rid of this orphan? Is there a way to clean up this?

SageTV should remove it from the list of recordings automatically if it can see the drive or network location where it used to be.

But, if you mean that the Delete option ins not in the dialog shown after selecting the recording, just try using Delete while the recording is highlighted w/o using Select first.

I tried that before... it wasnt showing the delete menu, so i tried to just highlight and press delete. That didnt do anything. So I deleted the source file from the RecordedTV directory - thinking that it would remove it. But that didnt work either.

Now I just seem to be stuck with the entry (I tried to highlight again and hit delete after reading your response - still has no effect).

Do you think that setting advanced_video_file_recovery=true might help?
