Advanced Info Meu

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned before, but I am excited about where the "Advanced Info Menu" is heading (accessed by hitting *Info* while on a movie). Currently, there doesn't seem to be anything else showing other than the main movie description for any of the tabs (unless I'm missing something). Where is this gem falling in the seamingly endless SMM project list?

Per this thread
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50358

It isn't finished or really even started yet. It is on the list but right now it is below getting more of the core functioning part working then this will come. Just when I think I got most of the core bugs fixed there are always more

It is on the list just a ways down.

Plucky,

on my wife's list of complaints ("Why did you remove SageMC?! It was working so well!") the missing Info functionality is at the very top of the list.

Could I ask you to reconsider? After all, the WAF is one of the major priorities for many of us techno geeks, isn't it?

Thanks,
teq

If you are taking votes..

Finishing info view is probably my #1 for SMM.

Although, I am interested in moving off of the required MM backend to a different backend so I can move Sage to Linux.

Noted all this currently stands below implementation of the core sage db (because some of it was/is going to come form their parsing of the media file.

That being said I will move it on up a bit in the list.

Yeah i would love the info view as well, i frequently find myself going to my homepc (off the htpc) to look up more info about a title.

That being said, The cover issue (which i believe is fixed in the upcoming version) and the individual tv episode support (once mymovies supports it) is wayyyy higher on my list .

Gee i wish i got to make the list

Another plea for the info screen here

Common situation when watching a movie here is "who's that guy/girl? what have we seen him/her in before?" I'm hoping you're going to be able to leverage the MM database to link actors/actresses to their previous perfomances etc so we don't have to hop off into the IMDB plugin or fire up a browser to resolve the nagging question in our heads
