API 1.201 Beta failed

OK, so I tried and installed today - result: SMM tried to build the DB for about an hour before I turned it off. Afterwards no menu under the MyMovies menu.

I decided to completely uninstall and to delete the folder with the SMM DB, property files, etc. However, now the API fails.

This is getting frustrating.

Any suggestions?

Frustrating for you but try being me

Without a log I can't help much. You are running new version of mymovies collection manager right?
Also could you check you jars folder and tell me how many jars are in there that contain smm?

Sorry, I guess that wasn't fair.

Yes, I've upgraded to the newest pre-release version of My Movies for WHS and Collection Manager today, and they seem to work fine and my movies data is still there.

In the JARs folder (I assume C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\JARs) there is only one SMM.JAR file - the API file doesn't seem to be there.

Something else I just noticed: SMM does still run on the server (through remote desktop) even though the API has failed here as well. However, it won't run on the extender. I will send you a logfile if that is any help in this situation.

Do you have any other jars with a smm in the name? Like one that says something like before implementation in the name?

No, I don't. I can see the other plugins that are required by SMM, e.g., the sagex-api.jar, but no other one with SMM in the name. I've sent you the logs, BTW.
