Does the HD300 play BDMV rips flawlessly?
For now, I have given up on trying to get BD playback in SageTV Client.
I am looking to get a proper home theater system, so now it makes sense to look at the HD300. If it plays back the main movie in BDMV rips - regardless of the video or audio codec used, including lossless audio codecs - and plays them back flawlessly, then I will proceed with an HD300 purchase. If it can bitstream all of the audio codecs to a receiver, then it is a no-brainer purchase. If on the other hand there are still play back issues, I'll look at getting a dedicated BD player.

It can bitstream them all. It only does main movie playback, no menus.
