USB-UIRT & Dish 612 and/or 722 Receivers - Do They Work?
I seem to see a lot of people having trouble getting their USB-UIRT working with Dish receivers. I am using mine with a DCT2000 Motorola default setting on a Motorola box from Charter with ZERO issues, so I am spoiled.
My USB-UIRT is the high-frequency, dual emitter version.
Is there a definitive thread that tells one how to get the USB-UIRT to work with Dish receivers? I read things about a "repeating 6" or something like that. IR codes are not any sort of specialty of mine, so, again, my wondering if there was a thread that dealt with these models of receiver and working them with the USB-UIRT/HD-PVR combo.
Thanks for any help. I don't want to change unless I know my system will work.
I can also, if necessary, use Solo HD receivers if no codes exist for the 612 or 722. I don't need fancy zone control or multi-tuning control of the DVR. I just need the USB-UIRT to tune either the DVR's or the Solo to a channel when my HD-PVR records it, just like I am doing now with my non-DVR HD box.
