Signal dropouts with OnAir GT after installing SageTV

I have an Autumnwave Onair GT tuner card that I've been using for a few years now without much of a problem, and then a few days ago I decided to download the trial version of SageTV. After doing that, I noticed that the picture was very glitchy, both when viewing and recorded playback. Believing it was the software, I uninstalled Sage and decided to go back to the software that came with the GT. Now I'm experiencing the same problems with that as well.

I'm not sure if Sage was in fact the problem. It might have just been pure coincidence that my problems started at the same time as I downloaded the software. But I can't figure out what else can be causing the problem. I looked around at the CPU usage and everything seems normal there. I tried re-installing the GT software, tired different USB ports, tried a different cable, Nothing seems to help.

Just to make sure it wasn't the unit, I unplugged the cable and tried using an OTA antenna and when I did that, everything seemed great. The problem is, with the antenna I can't pull certain channels like CBS, so I have to rely on the cable for that.

Any ideas on what the problem can be?
