Covers and backgrounds show / no show
Hi, I have the latest version. But on my HD300, most recently added covers and backgrounds do not show. However, on my placeshifter, they do show fine. Maybe a cache issue, or I need to refresh something (I did rebuild the database when at the HD300)? Thanks

Give it some time to scale them they should show up in a couple of hours max.

Thanks Plucky, I have been adding them over a few weeks, so it has been like that for some time. They just show the show title where the cover would be on the wall page.

Can you check your information page in smm options and tell me what it says for caching.

Sorry, just got to this. From the HD300, options menu, information, there is no mention of cache - it shows trailers, intros, number files, file location ..., but no mention of cache - it is not on my placeshifter instance either -- should there be?

I'm having the same issues. The server and placeshifter client shows the coverart just fine. HD200 shows the backgrounds, but no coverart of other information on the movie other than the RunTime.

Last night, in an attempt to fix my issue of the coverart and metadata not showing up on the HD200, I uninstalled the plugin (v 1.18 BETA) and the API (v 1.2300 BETA), restarted the service, loaded the API, restarted the service and finally installed the plugin. Same result as before.
In reading the walkthrough by Damian, it suggests that you need separate server and client plugins installed when running an extender (even has screenshorts showing both) however, in my install there is only one option for the plugin. I assumed this was due to the newer version of the plugin than what the walkthrough was based on (article was written in July 2010), but maybe I'm wrong on this and that accounts for my problems in getting it to work. Any help would be appreciated. |

Tried again to fix the issue myself without any luck. I'm hoping someone has a different approach I might try. As is, I'm not sure what might be the problem.
Any ideas? |

Can I see some mymovies logs to see where it is failing for you?
