Conexant CX24116/CX24118A chipset and Linux
Is anyone running a card with the above demod and tuner chipset successfully on Linux?
Other USB tuners I know of with the same chipset are the TBS QBox II, Tevii 650. It also appears to be the same chipset used by the DVB-S2 part of the Win TV HVR4000, Nova-HD-S2, Prof 750 but without the Cyrix CY7C68013A USB controller involved. My DVB-S2 box (DVBWorld 2104) uses the above chipset and is supported by the V4L2 drivers. It works perfectly in Linux using scan, scan-s2, szap etc, but while SageTV can see it to add as a source, the SageTV probe when selecting Digital TV Tuner generates a frequency out of range error in /var/log/messages. I've asked support, but am aware that Linux has no offical support, so was wondering if anyone else had any experience with successfully getting the chipset working. |
