Fixing an incorrectly named .jar

When I created the last update to my MultiUser Plugin I accidentally named the .jar file incorrectly; instead of MultiUserSupport.jar I packaged it as MultiUserSupport-0.51.jar so now people have two version of the .jar file in their system. How do I clean up the mess I made?

Ideally I'd like the next update to my Plugin automatically delete the -0.51.jar file.

What's the best way to fix this error?

The sagetv plugin system should have removed the old jar when you upgraded the new jar with the new name. But in the event that did not happen, then a "manual" clean up is the only other option

It doesn't I did this in the past. Manual is the only way.Now if they uninstall it should delete it.

I thought an update would fix it, but I'm fairly sure Plucky is right. Uninstalling is the only way that works

I stand corrected. Updating the Plugin did remove the old (improperly named) jar file!

Good, I was reading this thread and was concerned something wasn't working right. But as you got the expected behavior...I'm thinking all is well.
