Music visualizations, more than one?

The one built into 2.0 works and all, but it's not very exciting. Any more around or coming? What about pics from the media library as one?

Hope another one is coming because right now that's the only one. Now you could always choose a song then go to the media library and start a slideshow.

Now there's an idea... automatic slide show of your images while playing music.

I was hoping to see a feature whereas Sage could incorporate some third party Visualization software, such as MilkDrop.

Visualization

I want to add another vote for Slideshow visualization. I used that feature a lot in another PVR app. I really miss it. I used to have really long playlists that I would play randomly (over 30 hours worth) and have it show an art slideshow. It look really nice on my plasma and my wife and I enjoyed the living room much more...

PS I really would like it if when you add an album to a playlist that is would play randomly accross the WHOLE playlist instead of just the album.

Wouldn't it be nice to use the standard Windows Media Player visualizations?

Yeah, the Windows Media visualizations have a pretty clean and simple programmatic interface. It certainly should be possible to use them if Java supports COM interop (I'm not a Java programmer so I wouldn't know for sure).

I would actually prefer a plain blank screen to the current visualization. It's just ugly, no offense to whoever came up with it. :P

More visualization options would be great.

I'd like to put my $0.02 in for Winamp plugin support, and the option to put the visualizations as full screen or within a window...

Yeah, I was using MyHTPC's winamp plugin, which gave me the full gamut of Winamp visualizations .... pretty cool.

Oh, Milkdrop with 3d glasses is cool. Not "OH MY GOD" cool, but pretty cool.
