Wake from sleep to record

Hi,

I'm currently using sagetv on a windows 7 system, but I'd really like to switch it over to ubuntu 10.04 (I'm using ubuntu on every other system in the house and I'm a sysadmin on several red hat servers).

One of my biggest concerns with making the switch is rather the linux version of sagetv 7 can still wake the computer from sleep like the windows version because lots of times my system will sleep from midnight until 6-7pm the next night!

Is anybody currently using sagetv 7 on a linux install using sleep between the recordings?

Thanks,
Andy

To update this thread,

I got an email back from sage support and they say that this feature is not implemented in the linux version of sage.

With enough shell scripting fu, it would be fairly trivial to implement outside of sagetv as an acpi sleep script. Just parse the home screen of the webserver to determine the next recording, and write the time (minus some margin time to finish wakeup) to /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm
