Does Blu-Ray 3D require a special player?
Does Blu-Ray 3D require a special 3D Blu-Ray player ? I have a 3D TV and Kit complete with the battery operated glasses, but up until now I have not paid much attention to 3D content...But I really would like to see TRON in 3D.

Any expert (experienced) advice is welcomed.

So output of HDMI version 1.4 is basically the only requirement?

And a compatible software player. Sage won't play them in 3d (as far as I know). You should be able to use the external player mod to launch tmt5 which would be compatible with an hdmi 1.4a video card. You already have the TV and glasses so the software and compatible video card is all you need. This is assuming you have a blu-ray drive already.
