Problems with complementary metadata tools

I just installed complementary metadata tools and disabled imdb search and read, write and edit metadata (what it's replacing).

Now, I'm having problems with fan art and tried to disable complementary metadata tools to see if the problem goes away and it says that I can't do that -- there are dependencies. BUT, IT WON"T TELL ME THE DEPENDENCIES! How do I disable it?

The plugins dependent on CMT are "Phoenix Fanart for SageTV" and "Upcoming Movies 2".

What problems are you having with fanart?

Fan art is not showing up for DVDs. And when I manually copied the fan art from the phoenix database to a file named dvd_folder_name.jpg in the same subdir as the dvd folder, it showed up, but something renamed the set to a different movie (From 'Ju-on: The Grudge 2' to (I think) 'The Grudge' (might have just dropped the 2))! I also lost the file's metadata. I was trying to figure out what renamed my file/folder by removing you from the mix, and couldn't remove you from the mix!

CMT won't do anything automatically. I've just checked to confirm that fanart for DVDs does work.

I'm assuming you've got the Phoenix Fanart for SageTV plugin as that would stop you from disabling CMT.
What other plugins have you got installed?

I figured out the problem with DVD fanart. The Fan art subdir needed to be set in 2 different places in settings/customize -- Metadata Options and Fanart options. Fanart was correct; Metadata was not. Once corrected, it now works.

That's bizarrre, because both those settings are linked to the same code.

I'll have a check of it though.

That's what I assumed which is why I didn't look into the 2nd one when I found it originally (why I missed that it was wrong).
