Tuning the wrong channel

I set up Sage and then discovered that several channels would tune to the wrong station.

I downloaded and installed 7.1.7 and tried again. I had the same problem.

In the video source setup I checked that the physical channel was mapped correctly. It was. I then set the physical channel to various channels. I then preview the channel while monitoring with HD Home Run configure app. This is what I get.

Remapped physical channel 9-1 tunes 9 correctly
Remapped physical channel 7-1 tunes 7 correctly
But
Remapped physical channel 7 tunes 9
Remapped physical channel 11 tunes 15
Remapped physical channel 11-1 tunes 2
Remapped physical channel 13-1 tunes 2
Remapped physical channel 15 tunes 24
Remapped physical channel 15.1 tunes 2

I am trying to get virtual 11.1 on physical 11 and 13.1 on physical 13. What am I doing wrong?

You don't want to be remaping the physical numbers (those are what it sends to the tuner drivers to tune the station). What you are looking for is remaping the logical numbers. Clear all your remapping, do a channel scan, adn you should end up with all channels working as expected (7.1 tunes 7.1, 9.1 tunes 9.1, etc). Then, select channel 7.1, and choose Remap -> Remap Logical -> 7. This will make it show this as channel 7 (the logical number), and when you select it, it will tell the HDHomeRun to tune to 7.1 (The physical number).

This was a new install of Sage and your procedure is basically what I did during the install. If it had worked I wouldn't have tried the channel remapping.

The station IDs and program guides are correct and matches the logical channels. The HDHR config program tunes the stations correctly. Using the HDHR config program I can see Sage changing the channel but the tuner goes to the wrong physical channel.

I have a high gain antenna and receive some channels from a different market. Those are the channels that I am having problems with. They are high VHF channels. The high VHF and UHF channels from the local market tune correctly.

You shouldn't have to use the HDHR program to scan anything. OTA is fully configurable from within the sagetv UI. Basically, for OTA, you shouldn't have to do anything but a Full scan. To start fresh, remove the sources from in sage, delete any .scn and .frq files in the sagetv folder, then re-add them, and perform a full scan again.
