Getting metadata updates to show up properly with Diamond

I made manual updates to the categories/genres for movies in their .properties files but am having a hard time getting the diamond movie views to reflect the changes. Can someone help identify what steps must be done to get Diamond to recognize the updated metadata?

For example, when I changed the properties file then restarted sage, the diamond 'categories' view does not place the movie cover in the correct genres.

If you are changing the properties then you must force a full reindex by stopping the sagetv service editing your sage.properties and restarting to force it to reread the properties files.
