does anyone use a Magnavox MDR515H/F7 dvd recorder?

Thinking of picking one of these up, and wondered if anyone has used one in conjunction with a Hauppauge product, mainly, could you output the component signal into a Hauppauge HD-PVR, Colossus, etc and then produce a Hauppauge file format from the original format that came from the Magnavox?

I do not have that model but I have a Magnavox MDR650/17 (no longer works). I am sure that you can record directly from a Haupauge product. However, I fail to see any reason too. What is your goal? I got mine as an upgrade from VCRs, it was soon obsoleted by SageTV.
I had forgotten about about the DVDs I created back in 2003, but they are still good. I am watching one now as a test of my first DVD player.

I don't want to record FROM a Hauppauge product, but TO a Hauppage recorder. The idea being to record HD material (1080) on the Magnavox, and then output it TO the Hauppauge where it would be converted into .ts files.
