Send IR code through usbuirt from sagetv

I have 2 comcast hd cable boxes setup in my basement. I am using a usbuirt to control channel changing. I'm trying to get my system setup so I can watch xfinity on demand stuff through sagetv and I'm almost there. I have a dummy channel setup that forces me to tune to one of my cable boxes. I can then use my iphone/ipad xfinity app to select what I want to watch and send it the the cable box I'm currently tuning. The final piece of the puzzle is sending the IR "ok" code to the cable box that is necessary to actually start the show. I have already learned the "ok" button to my usbuirt and if I go the the "test IR code" dialog I can send the button. I'm looking for a more strait forward method of sending the "IR" code other then digging through multiple levels of menus. Any help?
