Start up Script error ??

So, all this time, I never put a start up script into place.. just never got around to it.. Well, this morning, I was cleaning up a few other things and decided it was time to put one in so I did have to start sage manually each time I rebooted...

I'm on Fedora 14, but I copied the Ubuntu script and took a look at it.. other than the "nohup" at the beginning of the startsage command (which I removed), all looks fine.

However, when I go to start the service, I get the following error:

service sagetv start
Starting SageTV Server: sagetvChanging to SageTV directory /opt/sagetv/server
.
# Executing pre-scripts
Starting server mode
./startsagecore: line 31: java: command not found
^C

When I pull up ./startsagecore, this is line 31:

java -Djava.awt.headless=$HEADLESS -DUSERKEY=$userkey $JAVAMEM -XX:+UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=25 -XX:GCTimeRatio=24 -XX:ThreadPr$

I'm not a developer, just know enough to do a bit of scripting.. Can anyone clue me in on this error and what might be wrong with that line??

Thanks!

You probably want to supply the full path to java. type `which java` in a shell window to find it

typically on most linux distros, if you've installed java, then java will be in your path. Did you install java?
