new and improved (?) HD PVR

So, do we think this new "gaming" edition actually does something different, or is it just a quiet hardware fix to all the troubles found in version one:

interesting. would love to hear a report from whoever does the first test-drive

I think it's neither. It's just the same old HD-PVR we've come to know and hate dressed up in a black box with a green bling light.

Plus it comes with a unique "universal Component Video cable", which has several connectors on the end that can plug directly into various video game consoles.

I guess one way to sell more product, if you can't fix it to work right, is to repackage it...

I was kinda hoping they had changed some trouble chips and tried to cover-up the fact with the new plastic. If anyone buys one, study the internals

There are three primary differences from HD-PVR Model
HD PVR Gaming Edition comes with a Universal Component Video cable set be use with PS3 and Xbox360, and uses Showbiz with the upload to YouTube feature and has Green Ligths.
The HD PVR does not come with the gaming cable and uses Total Media Extreme and has Blue Ligth.
The hardware internals from each model are the same
