No audio on Hauppauge HVR 950q NTSC cable channels

I receive video, but no audio on the 950q NTSC cable channels. I've tried a number of different mp2 audio decoders in detailed setup, also different versions of the Hauppauge drivers, but no joy.

NTSC audio works fine using the WINTV and Windows Media Center applications. I also get audio on the digital QAM stations using SAGE.

I've got the same problem. No audio on NTSC analog channels with a Hauppauge 950q. I believe it has something to do with how SageTV hooks up the various directshow filters/renderers.

I had no sound on Hauppage's WinTv 7 application. So I un-installed all of the Hauppage stuff, rebooted, re-installed Wintv, and then I had sound in WinTV. Then I tried SageTV, and did NOT have sound in SageTV. So I went back to WinTv and I no longer had sound in WinTv. So SageTV did something that broke sound in WinTv.

I'll let you know what I find out. I'm not using the QAM capabilities of the 950q.
