How to handle img DVD images (as opposed to ISO)

I know that Virtual Clone drive can handle both ISO and IMG. I also know that SageTV can automatically mount ISO discs (if virtual clone drive is installed on the same system). Im curious if there's a way to get IMG discs to work with sageTV. If not, what would be the easiest way to convert IMG to ISO?

I did a google on convert img to iso and got a lot of hits.

I haven't used any of them so can't provide recommendation

Thanks for your response. It turns out I have a much better solution. All I had to do was rename the IMG ext to ISO. SagetV imported it right away! All this time, I never knew that!
