HD300 Won't start without unplugging

I have 2 HD300s and one of them will not start without unplugging it for bout 20 sec. I get the splash screen on boot up, but then nothing without unplugging.

Any suggestions on issues with it??

I was having the same issue with my two HD300 extenders. I thought they were both starting to fail. First it was one unit, then then both. This was going on for several months.

I did the factory reset procedure on page 11 of the HD300 manual. I did the reset to both units and I've not had connection or boot up issues since I did it. That was over two months ago.

I'd give that a try and see if it helps.

I did a factory reset and now I get the splashscreen and media setup screen, but HD300 can not find my server.

I tried forcing the server name and ip address in the server startup screen, but now it deslpays the server name, but will not start. Works in media mode, but have not tried to get to my files directly yet.

Any suggestions???

Thanks for the help. Now working after several attempts at returning to factory settings.
