Some fanart works and some does not

I have to disagree (with it being bmt fanart related). The reason this "fixes" the issue is that with that option selected a completely different set of code is run to get the single fanart item available in a fixed location....so no "default" fanart item lookup which I am pretty sure is the code that is failing at times.

But I certainly appreciate the feedback as it all helps in narrowing down the issue.

Since we're talking about fixes....

Today I tried the following:
I'm talking about banners and tv series here -
Find a show that's shooting blanks, drill down to season listing, which still show blank, in every case I've looked at.
go to options and select fanart manager.
Select a default banner for the series level (several banners do show for all I've tried so far).
Exit back to base level and that series still shows blank.
drill down to the season listing again, seasons banners will still be blank too and reenter fanart manager, select a season and select a different banner for the season default. (HAS TO BE DIFFERENT)
exit back and now there's a banner, the one selected for the season and it's also the default for the series and ALL seasons.
Changing the default banner for the series after that has no effect, but changing the banner for the season changes all seasons and the series.

So far this has been true for all I've tested, but I'm leaving some blank as there's obviously only so many test subjects....

I discovered some new info this weekend. I had to reboot my server (happens every now and then). After doing so, all my fanart was displaying in Gemstone again! A few new movies have been recorded since then, and they are not displaying fanart like before. However, I imagine if I were to reboot my server then these new movies would work.
