anyone using a Shaw Direct DSR605 with Sage?

precisely, is anyone using a DSR605 with Sage and either a Hauppauge Colossus or HD PVR?
I am having some issues with the optical audio output (or input - troubleshooting) from the DSR to my HTPC's input, and wondered if anyone else recently started having problems as well

EDIT - OK, found a way to ascertain the output is working. Ignore - thanks
