Recordings and Favorites disappeared!

Has anyone seen this before?

Due to slugglishness, I restarted my Sage Server. When the system came back up, I had no recordings - they were all gone. And my favorites were all gone as well. Restarted again, but nothing came back.

Went into my recording directories, and the video files were still all there. Using BMT, I determined that they had all been Archived. And because I had the Archive filter turned on in Gemstone on the Recordings screen, they were not visible. I unarchived them all and then manually recreated all of my favorites to fix the problem.

What could have caused this?

there must be something screwy going on with Sage, because I had the same thing happen to me, which has never happened. Nearly all my recordings just vanished save for about 20. And...they weren't present in the Video section either. All recordings and properties files WERE still on the drive where they should be, however.
I just did a Windows restore from two days hence, and everything returned to normal. I've been using Windows restore a bunch since the Sage servers have started to act up - and that includes the recent "NO DATA" that randomly appears throughout my guide listings over the last week.
Something is not going well with the Sage servers for sure - they were down again today for a while. Let's hope for the best
