EPG server down?

I am having the "no data" bug after re-mapping my QAM channels to my PRIME tuner (Comcast just yesterday shut off unencrypted QAM). I deleted my sources and I'm trying to re-download my channel line up, but I'm getting frozen on the download screen.

Anyone else notice if it's down?

Keep trying. I've been noticing problems for probably a month now. If I try it several times I can usually get through. I usually try several things like changing my zipcode by one digit for instance but I don't think that really accomplishes anything but delaying me slightly which for some reason seems to work. I've also just paused and done nothing for a couple of minutes and then tried again and it worked (which is why I think the zip code change did nothing).

I eventually got in, this morning.

Sparhawk6 - Would you mind stating your location. I noticed today that I've lost all but 5 (useless) channels here in the Olympia, WA area. Several rescans on my HDHR have yielded nojoy.

It's down in the Steubenville Ohio area. I have a message that the lineup no longer exists. Looks like there is an EPG server issue again

Same here a few days ago. Tonight when I checked we had data through 11/28. When I went into video source setup and toggled a channel off and back on we now have data through 11/30 so maybe it's working?

I don't remember how much future data is normal but we have 12 days right now.

12-14 days is normal. Depends on the timing of when SageTV gets its update from zap2it, and when you pulled the update from sagetv.

I was told the EPG server is operating within normal parameters, so there shouldn't be any problems getting EPG updates.

If you have no listings in the Guide or your listings have gaps in the EPG data (no listings for some days followed by days with listings), then that can be repaired by this FAQ, particularly:

Quote:
Close down SageTV and the service and open up your Sage.properties file. Try removing all the properties from the that file that have the string 'server_update_id' or 'expanded_until' in them. Now run SageTV again.
When there are multiple lineups, don't forget that there are multiple properties using the two names to be removed.

And, if you have no gaps or no missing guide data, you don't need to do this.

Another reminder: 14 days of EPG data means about 2 days in the past + about 12 days into the future.

I'm still also having problems.
some channels aren't getting information right now.
I also still can't get EPG Lineup changes to work into area code 07922 Comcast Digital / Verona.

I've been through the FAQ and my epg_import_plugin is naked.

HELP!
