My zip code no longer works for EPG??
I was having problems getting the EPG to update. Kept saying cannot connect to server. That and a few other quirks led to a complete reinstall.
During setup of new install - same problem!? My zip (32092) won't work (it did the last 6 years or so). I experimented with a different zip and voila, it worked. Pretty much any zip near me works, thank goodness, but mine won't. Not a big deal now, but I'm putting this out there as an FYI and to see if anyone understands what happened. |

I have not tried lately as I noticed the zap2it website went through a major updating of it's looks It now reminds me of a hulu clone without the videos now that it is updated :P |

I have also found that when the system has already been using a lineup for a while based on a ZIP code entered some time in the past, I can't re-use that zip code to find new lineups, I always have to enter the same zip code as a new one, and then, and only then, will the lineups be pulled for that zip.

Is there any way to force something in, by editing a file or something. When I enter my new zip code I get no options in the list. actually not getting any options with my old zip codes either. hmm

It usually takes me 4 or 5 tries before it accepts my zip code when I remove a tuner or set up sage tv.
Usually that is trying it that many times in a row instead of waiting until later but eventually it grabs the data but it takes a few minutes when it does |

meaning, try for my zip, then press back then try again then press back and try again etc.?

Meaning when it says can't connect just keep trying a few more times is what I do.

Oh, it doesn't say that it can't connect, it just shows no providers. I get to the screen that says "Please select your cable or satellite provider" and there are none listed. Let it sit online over the weekend and still no options today.

zap2it shows the lineup fine, but nothing shows up when doing a search by any zip, in my area, or my previous area. just nothing shows up.
