WTB wifi usb dongle for HD300

So apparently not any Wifi USB dongle would work with the HD300, best bet is the stupid hard to find one that SageTV used to sell.

From older threads, it seems that it is the ENCORE ENUWI-N, it has to be this exact model to work.

Do any of you have it and willing to sell? I need it temporary until I have time to run Cat5 cable.

I would consider getting something like this instead, which plugs into the network port on the HD300. From the HD300's perspective, it thinks it's hardwired to your network. And after you have run the wiring and no longer need it for your HD300, it's always handy to have one or two of these on hand anyhow.

Fully aware of that, but as I said, I just need this as a temporary solution until I run cat5 cables. So that means I'm not looking forward to spending $50+ on a device. I'm hoping for something below $30 like the SageTV ENCORE ENUWI-N that someone might have laying around the house that they are not using.

Thanks for the advice though.

This is one I got a while back. You can buy used for approximately $25.

also you can get the device posted by Keith for under $25

Smile These worked for me

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/290915123516

Running 4 of these and found steaming better
than using homeplug 500Mbps
