XMLTV Importer for SageTV

Hi All,

I am having to use the XMLTV importer now for our OTA guide as the tv stations have changed the format and the built in OTA in Sage is not working correctly.

The XMLTV importer for sageTV i am using is now grabbing data from ICETV and working well. I have one issue in that it is not importing the data each day from the schedule I have set up. I beleive this is because You need to donate to the author of the software to get the ful version. The issue here is that the authors links are gone. Is LM Gestion still around? Is there anyway I can get the full version from somwhere?

Thanks for the suggestions from people. I tired to get in COntact with Stephane but no luck. Does anyone know if this XMLIMporter for SageTV will be available ever again? And where I can get a copy.

Otherwise I will be writing my own scheduling tool that will interact with the importer program. Which I would prefer not to do.

I checked my sage box and I have the donator version (you've prompted me to take a backup!) I'm not sure what the legalities of providing it to you are though

Stéphane told me he was moving this summer and was also moving his servers that were located inside his house. So I would expect the lmgestion site to be back up once he has reconnected everything in his new place.

Did you try emailing him? I sent you his email address in a PM a couple of weeks ago - good luck

That site has been down a while I was lucky I had a copy of the donator version as a backup or else it would just be too bad. Therefore in my opinion this is abandoned... and I see reason not to share the importer since there is no way other way to get a copy. There is not even any support for this tool. I mean you are telling me that the Provider of this program has no Internet access at all from anywhere even a library to post himself that this is still being supported and is available give me a break!!!.

Thanks for the replies. Since I wasn't able to obtain a donater version I wrote my own updater which sits on top of the LMGestion Importer and runs it on a schedule.

Looks like Steve was a smart programmer (to stop people trying to do what I have done and put some dynamic generating class ID's in his process so there was no way to trigger the import event without actually me showing the interface briefly.

Still it works fine. Anyone else need a copy of this to get things working let me know.
