Hi there,

over on another thread, routerunner has indicted that you may be adding a feature to EPGcollector where it could work with Digiguite to produce an EPG. Have i understood correctly?

Just trying this EPG Collector out now, for Freeview UK should you set it to use EIT or MHEG5 ?

Yes I'm looking into using digiguide with epg collector. I have the standard digiguide xml file but, it does not provide the ,for example, series information correctly etc.

I'm currently using EPG collector to create and update the .frq files as well as creating the epg data. This is fine except it is missing most of the series and episode information. I'm enhancing this information by using the lookup tab to grab additional information from the web. Then finally using the Radio times data to provide additional series / episode information. So 80% there with series information.
Looking at the digiguide information can hopefully increase the information further, problem is episode information is uniquely accessible in the XML but series information is held in a miscellaneous section of the XML.
So currently working on extracting the series from the xml and building an amended xml file.
The annoyance is the information is in their application but not all extracted and appears in different places.
