Screen Scraping: Aspect Ratio Problems ?
I am using a product called ReplayVideoCapture to define an area on my monitor and then record whatever happens there (along with whatever is on the audio...) to a .MPG file.
Specifically, I have been recording streamed NetFlix movies for convenience in viewing later. Sometimes it's A-OK, other times I have to pop Sage's Aspect Ratio menu and select one of the explicit ratios instead of "Source".... but other times the aspect ratio is a little goofy no matter what I do. And add to that the fact that I just recorded one movie that plays a-ok on Sage via an HD200, but whose aspect ratio cannot be made right when viewing via Client on a laptop. Strangly this and another movie with the same problem play perfectly on the laptop when viewed through VLC Media Player. I am thinking it's something around how Sage (or the codecs it uses) handle aspect ratio. Has anybody been here - especially with ReplayVideoCapture ?

Mainly because I already blew forty bucks on RVC,,,, -)
Is PlayLater working for you? I came away from the one review that I read (http://www.techhive.com/article/2153...ia-server.html) thinking it was not all that great - but maybe that was a biased review and/or I did not fully understand...

Playlater works pretty well for me and records netflix in 720P if you bought the HD option.
