Something similar to this documenting the entries in the sage.properties file would be awesome as well...

Are you going to release the code that creates the API? And, do you think the Open Source releases should run proguard (or whatever you used to use) on the jar so that core sagetv apis are not exposed?

Yeah, I put in a change on Friday that has the script in there. There's a class in tv.sage.util.StudioAPIProcessor which is what reformats the API files into a format so Javadoc can then parse them and give us what we want.

I don't see any reason to use an obfuscator anymore....it caused me loads of headaches when I forgot to add certain things we were using to its exclusion files, and also made debugging Java thread dumps annoying. I understand the reason why...but I'm probably more optimistic that people won't misuse it.
