NAS issue in SageTV OSS9

I'm using NAS storage for my imported music and movies.

These settimgs (see att #1) work in SageTV 7.1.9 with Win 7 but not in OSS version 9.0.0.4 with Win 10.

Any advice? All show in SageTV9 (on Win10) when using Sage Network Browser but are unavailable with Sage Import Browser. Also don't show up under music or video folders from SageTV main menu (says no files found and asks if I want to set up import folders).

Setup/Browser screens attached.

First guess would be you have your service running as LocalSystem, which cannot access network shares. The 'browse' is done client side, which would be running in the user space, and CAN access the network shares.

Your First guess is good - I am running service as Local System but on both PCs. But with SageTV7 under Win7 it works fine. With SageOSS9 under Win10 it doesn't work.

Wondering why.

EDIT: I mean the \\movienet\movies works for an import folder under 7 on Win7 but not 9 on Win10

It should not work as LocalSystem on any Windows system. If it is, you have some standard security features disabled. Just use the SageTVServiceControl application to have the service run as a user account, and you should be good to go.

Even though all show in SageTV9 (on Win10) when using Sage Network Browser, when I try to play them response is "File no longer on disk".

Sorry, didn't see yor last post. I'll give that a shot. I do have all security I can disable on the Win 7 machine disabled.

EDIT: Working OK now - Thanks Fuzzy
