Problems running Linux 64

I downloaded the binaries from here: https://bintray.com/opensagetv/saget...V/9.0.1.0/view and ran.

One my dual boot machine the sageclient.sh runs but is hard to set up because the screen doesn't erase old text. This is probably one of the problems with using the nouveau driver. So I installed on another machine which also has an HVR-1600 card but uses the radeon driver. The server installs and runs well but the client fails to run with this message:

"Error: Could not find or load main class gluegen-rt-2.3.1-natives-linux-amd64.jar"

This is same binary that launches on the other box. Are there enviornment variables or permissions that need to be set? Don't know why it can't find the file. It's right there in the directory. I also have tried copying the untarred client directory to /opt/sagetv/client but it gives the same error.

Should I install SageTV for linux 7.1.9 then install over it?

BTW, on the first machine I tried to install SageTV 7.1.9 for windows with wine 1.6.2 and got a normal display but it couldn't find any hardware (not surprising. Could I install SageTV client dfor Windows with wine and use it to connect to the (apparently working) Linux server?

Is this a linux 64 install?

Also, you can try turning of 3d acceleration in the setting/preferences and see if that makes a difference.

Yes, 64 bit build. Is there a 32 bit build?

No, but you could be running a 32bit linux and the 64bit binaries would likely not work well.
