Will client v9 play well with server v7?
Apologies in advance if this is a silly question.
I have a few clients running. Before I go through trying out v9 on my server, will a client updated to v9 play nicely with a server still on v7?

The versions must match all 7 or all 9 you can't mix them. The only thing I know you can mix is the place shiftier.
