TV Guide Data

I just installed the Windows 9 server on a win10 box to test it out. I added one of my Prime tuners via the OpenDCT application. It all looks and works great and is fast. I can view/record channels, etc. However, I can't pull down any guide data from my Charter provider. See attached image. Any idea why not?

Also, does the V9 Windows client require a license?

You need a license to get EPG data from the SageTV servers.

See the faq here: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...406#post577406

Do you have the environment variable set correctly?

The client should not need a license.

Or sign up for Schedules Direct and use that plugin.

when you installed the server did you enter the server license key on the first screen of the installer. If so and you get this error you likely need to pm Narflex to get it whitelisted

I didn't enter the key on the first screen. I read somewhere that the license was only for CC and not EPG. However, i dug up my server license from 2008 and put it into a system variable. Then i restarted the Sage service and now have guide data. Very nice!
