DVD Navigation?
When I play DVD's in sage (using sage's DVD player), I can't navigate the menus (with the mouse or the remote)
Any ideas what could be wrong? (I'm using sage 2.0 with the sonic cineplayer decoders) thanks! rwc |

DVD menus are accessed using the "options" command with SageTV. To access with a mouse just "right-click" during playback.

But there are no options to play or select
Ok I can put the DVD in, it loads to it's main menu. I have three options, play movie, setup and Extras. I can't select any of them or make them happen. The mouse does not allow selection of these items. I can use the remote or keyboard to move focus and select. The Options menu for DVD does not allow this either. So how do you navigate and play DVDs with a Mouse?

I don't think it's possible, at least it doesn't work on my copy of SageClient.

I upgraded from the initial release to sagetv 2.0.20 and suddenly it started to work.
I don't know if the upgrade really "fixed" the problem or not...maybe one of the frey guys can confirm? thanks, rwc |

Your remote might have needed to be assigned to the DVD nav commands. They are separate from the normal up/down/left/right commands in Sage.
Or maybe you just got lucky. Aren't computers fun? Mine fix themselves sometimes, but mostly they just break. |
