Windows problem with browsing SMB import

Hello,

I had to rebuild my machine from scratch after upgrading some components. I had backed up my sagetv directory. Everything is working okay, except my media folder on my NAS. I'm getting invalid directory errors when trying to browse network shares.

I attached a screenshot. I'm running windows 10 pro 32-bit and SageTV 9.0.4.232.

Please advise and thanks in advance!

Edit:

If there is something I can provide (logs, etc) that can help trouble-shoot this, please let me know. It's been a long time since I've had any issues with my Sage setup.

I've never been able to browse UNC paths in Sage. However, if I type in the full path, it works just fine. I see you're prefixing with smb, which I'm used to entering for my own shares when using Kodi, but never that way in Sage. For Sage, I use the Windows format of "\\[server name]\[full]l\[path]".

I tried that as well and it didn't work. This issue has really beat me up.

I found I had to add "Everyone" to the Security tab on the folder that is shared with Full rights to get rid of the "Invalid directory" when browsing from a linux server to a windows directory - maybe that will work for Win10 as well.

Were/are you running Sage as a service? If so, did you remember to change it to an account with admin rights?

That fixed it. On my WD MyCloud I had to set the share to public. It must be a Windows 10 thing.
