Tuning problems

CPU = Intel Atom D510
OS = Tiny Core Linux 7.1
JDK = 1.8.0_92
SageTV = 9.0.4 (downloaded from github 29 May 2016)
PCI Tuner card = DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4 (rev 2)
USB Dual DVB stick - MyGica

I'm having problems with tuners. Under SageTV 7 on Ubuntu 10.10 I have problems with some tuners not being able to lock to a channel, particularly the dual DVB stick. I'm trying to get open source SageTV running on Tiny Core Linux. While its running well (and very much faster than on Ubuntu), it seems that I can only get one tuner to work at a time. If I introduce another tuner from the Video Sources configuration I get the 10 repeats of 'DVB couldn't get LOCK on try...'. in sagetv_0.txt and then 'No Signal'.

w_scan seems to successfully lock on all channels on all tuners, so I'm not convinced that there's amy real hardware issue.

Does anyone have any ideas on debugging tuner problems.

You might start to have a look HERE it could work for Linux as well

I did see that post. For the record, touch NATIVE_LOG.ENABLE in the server directory does work under linux too. It creates a Native.txt file which you can use tail -f Native.txt on to monitor live output. I'll give that a try again more systematically and see if I can identify anything obvious. I might also try using the linux dvb-apps to see if can tune multiple tuners simultaneously.
