pause in playback of live tv when changing shows

So, ever since going to V9 I get a pause/freeze during live tv when going from one show into the next. Usually, I just hit rewind once or twice and playback will resume. I'm seeing this on the client system.

I thought it might be a clock syncing issue, but there's no difference if I tell sage to sync the system clock to EPG or not.

Also, I've changed out to client pc, reinstalled everything, and it still does it. Windows 7 or windows 10, still does it. Reinstalled the server set up, still does it.

I'm out of guesses.

I just fixed my freeze in live TV when switching shows this weekend. In the server, I changed a line in SageTV.properties to:
seeker/fast_mux_switch=false

It was previously set to "true", which caused the problems on my system (also a client). Here's an old thread that I used for reference:
