Phoenix 3 UI Replacement for SageTV V9+

What is Phoenix 3 (aka P3)? It started out as just a bit of an update to Phoenix2 - looking to apply more modern design instead of all the chrome edges / pipes / drop shadows.

But it also turned into a big simplification and focusing of the UI. I stripped out a lot of stuff that isn't related to watching recorded / imported video content. The idea behind P3 is that it's focused on doing what Sage does best - recording and watching TV. So picture albums and music collections are not there. If you want them stay on the other UIs!

I'll continue to improve and add new features that are in the area of focus that P3 covers. Things like prompting to watch the next episode when the current one ends, improvements in the OSD navigation, better and cooler use of the video thumb-nailing system, etc.

I'll also put a bit of focus on making P3 both Android and HDx00 friendly - so if you are using a remote that only has a D-pad and a couple other buttons, I'm striving to make everything you need be accessible and intuitive. This seems to be the likely future of SageTV as the original extenders are going to start dying sooner or later. (Hopefully later)

There isn't a lot of configuration in P3. Most of the items in the settings menu kick you into the default UI to make changes. Once you hit the home button you'll be back in P3.

Phoenix 3.0, version 102 Release Notes

1. Replaced images through out P3 with FontIcons
2. Added support for Icons in the Home Screen Menu (controlled by a property in User Interface)
3. OSD option menu added (Comskip settings mostly)
4. Reduced frequency of weather threads update from 1 second to 30.
5. Scale Fanart in the background, with a icon in header to indicate it's going on.
6. Restored 'Watched' icons to Grid style details.
7. Added 'Don't like' to options for recordings in Media Browser.
8. Added Power option for full clients.
9. Fixed readability of config editor.
10. Misc bug fixes.

Phoenix 3.0, version 103 Release Notes

1. Updated Media Browser List mode:
   • Banners available in the list
   • Updated media file to be consistent with the rest of P3
   • Added icons
2. Added media file information (Description) to the time bar.
3. Removed calls at startup that were causing issues - I tested them and they didn't even fix the issue they went in to address.
