Stuck - Missing Views x-vfs.xml

I had to redo my whole SageTV setup. I am now using CableCARD and HDHomerun Prime...Woohoo, it works great, but was a pain in the butt to setup.

I can't get BMT to work. I'm plagued with the missing view can't load x-vfs phoenix core issue. Yes...I saw the sticky. I tried moving x-vfs.xml file to various places with tons of restarts. It always seems to delete the file. I installed the Full UI phoenix. I even installed the Mod UI Phoenix stuff. Nothing seems to be working.

Most of what I see on the forums says it will be fixed in v9. I'd like not to have to upgrade to V9 in a quick...have to have it way.

On my old system BMT worked great. The overall goal is to get imported movies/tv shows with the correct metadata so they fall in to the correct menus.

Here's my question....Is there a fix for BMT missing x-vfs.xml in Sage v7? If not, is there another program I can use to organize imported media and define files as either tv recording or not tv recording?

Here are my specs:
SageTV - 7.1.9.256
Sage.api - 7.1.9.1
Phoenix - 2.5.13
Java - 1.8.0_101

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

YOu have 2 options...

1. Upgrade to SageTV V9 (this issue is fixed)
2. There is a post in here somewhere that links to the "version" of x-vfs.xml that you need download an overwrite the one in SAGE_HOME/STVs/Phoenix/vfs/x-vfs.xml

If you can't find the link... report back, and I'll try to find it. (it takes some time )

I'm good now

The link in the post wasn't good any more, but I realized my problem was that I wasn't stopping the Sagetv service before copying the files were they needed to go. So, I went to my backup and pulled the x-vfs.xml file, stopped it, copied it, started it and I'm golden. Thanks for the help!!!
