Sage + HDHomeRun CONNECT - no video

I've been trying to blow the dust off my old SageTV install since my DirecTV contract is almost up, and everything seems to be coming along nicely except for one important part: viewing a live video stream!

I have a brand new HDHomeRun CONNECT 2-tuner OTA device, and it works fine from my server using their app to watch TV. It shows up correctly in the Source Setup, but when I try to tune in to a channel, I just get a black screen.

Watching the HDHR while this is happening, I can see one of the "in use" light go on for about 1-2 seconds, then it goes off. This is not the behavior you see when watching using the HDHR app - the "in use" light stays on as long as that tuner is, well, in use.

Any suggestions on how to fix it? I'd be just as grateful for some troubleshooting ideas - that's normally a strong skillset for me with my technical background, but I just can't find anywhere to get a foothold with this problem!

Did you change the default transcode to MPEG2 via the built-in web page on the tuner?

The CONNECT doesn't have any configuration options on its web page. Just some status choices.

Also worth noting, last night I installed Sage on another PC, and it worked fine. So it's either environmental or Sage configuration related... I might just save off my install directory and remove everything and test a clean install.

i am considering getting the connect for OTA since my HDR-1600 Hauppuage board stopped working after my win10 upgrade. I can't find my old driver install disk so can't install the updated driver software. Stupid Hauppauge requirement.

Do i use the connect with OpenDCT like the HDrime?
