Unusual Problem: identifing show incorrectly

I am not sure if this is a SageTV, Schedules Direct, or BMT problem.

The issue is occurring with the TV show “Project Runway”. On Thursday night, Lifetime broadcasts four different shows. I am going to use 9/7/17 as the example:
PHP Code:
8:00 pm    Project Runway                   (last weeks show)

An Unconventional Recycling         Lifetime    S16E03
                                            TVDB        S16E02

8
:50 pm    Project Runway                (additional scenes)

Project RewindMake-It-Work-Moments

9
:00 pm    Project Runway                   (new episode)

We’re Sleeping Where?               Lifetime    S16E04
                                            TVDB        S16E03

10
:32 pm    Project Runway                  (preview of the next new episode)

First LookDescending into Good and Evil
Here is the problem, they look fine in the future Guide listing. SageTV records all four shows. But it identifies all four shows as

Project Runway We’re Sleeping Where? S16E04

And to make it worse, it goes and changes the Guide listing to match so they all read Project Runway We’re Sleeping Where?

Some screen shots are attached.

Suggestions?

BMT Problem?

I originally posted this in the EPG forum and had no responses.

How can I stop it from mis-identifying the show?

Easy enough to tell if it's BMT. In the configuration there is a setting, preserve original metadata (you can search for it in the config area). By default that is enabled. If it's enabled, then BMT does not overwrite titles, season/episode, etc, except if they are blank (which they wouldn't be). Unless you disabled that flag, BMT does not update recorded metadata fields, just fills in gaps, etc.

I just looked and "Preserve Original Metadata for Recordings" was NOT checked. No idea about how it became unchecked.

Let's see what happens Thursday night when it records the next set of shows.

Thanks!

OK. Checking "Preserve Original Metadata for Recordings" solved half of the problem. The program are being recorded correctly.

But something changed the Guide Listing. Everyone of the Project Runway shows from last night says Season 16 Episode 05. It did NOT say this before the recording. Only one show, the correct one, had Season 16 Episode 05 in the description. Now they all have it.

What is changing the Guide data?

Thoughts?
