Import not working?
I cannot seem to get a different extender to accept an imported file that contains all the gemstone exports. It seems to take it, but nothing changes even after power cycling the extender. This is on a mibox and an hd300

What is the export from?
The odd time i see a menu import not take effect but a restart of the extender usually resolves You could turn on debug for gemstone in options and then import and post both the server and gemstone logs k

There could be some path issues between various clients. I think i fixed a few in the newest gemstone release but there could be others. If the issues continue, try exporting to separate files for the different types to narrow where the issue may be.

It was the filters that weren't coming along. Menus and widgets were okay, but the views were off because the filters hadn't been applied. I tested by re-exporting from the master placeshifter and re-importing, same result. I recreated the setup I want on my HD300 and exported/imported from there, and it came up correctly on a mibox.

Here you go. The one labeled HD300 is from an HD300 (obviously) and is the one I used with the mibox successfully. The other that I forgot to label is from a win7 placeshifter and only worked for menus and widgets but not filters.
Very possible it's not a bug and something I did, please let me know if that's the case

So the one that imports properly is...
Code:
Gemstone/Flow/sd0fu00jrpuk/Filters/FlowPathFilters=\\\\192.168.1.100\\Pictures&&false; Code:
Gemstone/Flow/sd0fu00jrpuk/Filters/FlowPathFilters=\\\\UNRAID\\Pictures&&false; Otherwise the format looks fine. k
