What brand of Line Endings?

Is there a consensus on what Line Endings should be used?

Visual Studio wants to use CR LF (Windows), but has the option of setting them to
CR (Macintosh)
LF (Unix)
LS (Unicode Line Separator)
PS (Unicode Paragraph Separator)

I would assume LF (Unix) is the way to go, but you know what happens when you assume

Most config management systems, like SVN, will do the line termination conversion for you, so I’d recommend using whatever is native for your OS.

If you're working with the SageTV code, some of the VS files have a mix within the same file and git complains about them but still manages them fine. The license header text was mass-copied in to all files and I assume has different line endings than the main code in some cases.

In general I would say VS files/projects should be CR/LF and the others just LF. That's mostly the case now.

Also, if you're planning on any code changes to SageTV, I'm just about ready for a pretty large pull request so please hold off or start from my github copy.
