Soon, Sherman Anti Trust talk better start - for companies to own the manufacturing and delivery process, especially under monopolies - what am I missing? Streaming isn’t getting better, and cable rates are going up instead of down when you factor cable internet into the pricing. They aren’t hurting at all, and aren’t being forced to compete. It’s criminal, but since Chief Criminal and former GOP lobbyist Ajit Pai heads the FCC....well we shouldn’t be surprised.

It doesn't matter what administration we're under with regard to the FCC and Ajit Pai. It's a stacked deck in any case.

No, but Ajit was put in by the current admin. Wheeler was there before and was much better (though expectations were pretty low for him too).

many will say the real downfall came back when ClearChannel was given carte blanche to do whatever they wanted, own all the media’s they wanted etc. After that, it was a green light for the Comcast model to reign....fire down on us all....lol

Ajit was "put in" to the FCC by the previous administration, reinforced by the current. That's why I leaned towards politics not mattering as it's corruption all the way around with regard to communications.

Like I said, the damage started back many years. Sadly, the general public seem completely comatose to what the FCC is, what it used to be and what it’s become. Once upon a time, it actually made rules to favor the general public.
