new build with Network tuners
Hi,
Seems My pci tuners have bit the dust. I am now going to start fresh using a HdHomerun Quattro. I would like to get the benefits of Comskip etc added in one fell swoop. My linux distro doesn't provide java 8 any more only 11 by default. I think that version doesnt work for us am I right? What is my best option to get this all installed? VM or Docker? I would like to use the latest versions & work with the scripts already floating around out there. Could I get some instructions please? Not really familiar with using docker etc. I was using a straight linux build into Mxlinux (debian based distro). I added Stuckless java 8 docker & crazy's opendct. not sure how to run it. Do i need to restart dockers each time I boot up? I would like to be able to do a Ron Popeil- "Set it & forget it" |
